John Abraham’s House in Bandra

John Abraham’s home, appropriately named the “Villa in the Sky,” is a 4,000-square-foot penthouse perched on the seventh and eighth floors of a residential complex in Bandra West, Mumbai. Abraham John Architects’ team of architects and designers created John Abraham’s
Bandra home.

This exquisitely designed home is one-of-a-kind because it has two floors and is located at a high elevation. The design team combined two older apartments to create a single, modern two-story apartment with a terrace.

The two separate floored apartments were combined by cantilevering the interior columns and tearing down all of the inner walls to make way for a new staircase. The plan was to convert the duplex into a villa that was elevated above ground.

The actor’s sky villa, with views of the Arabian Sea, is the epitome of a dream home. The villa’s design incorporates several eye-catching elements that maximise space and create the illusion that the home is larger than it actually is.

John Abraham‘s House – Vastu-Compliant Penthouse

The majority of Bollywood stars live in Bandra, a well-known and affluent neighborhood known as the “Queen of Suburbs” due to its exquisitely designed homes. Floor-to-ceiling windows can be found throughout John Abraham’s opulent home, including the large master bedroom.

The main feature of this opulent penthouse is that it provides a serene view of the sea from each room. In addition to its breathtaking views, this villa’s design is minimalist and modern.

One of this design firm’s masterworks is the open plan concept for integrating outdoor and indoor areas to maximize the benefits of climate, view, and site location.

The John Abraham house’s design is overseen by the Mumbai-based Abraham John design team. The two-story Villa in the Sky is located on the seventh and eighth floors of a Bandra West residential complex and measures 4,000 square feet. Here are a few of the reflected
designs:

All of the interior walls were removed to make way for a single, spacious flat. To connect the two floors, a new staircase was constructed, and the right interior columns were cantilevered.

The main attraction of the house is the tranquil view of the sea from every room, which is
accentuated by the unique design.

The enormous master bedroom and floor-to-ceiling windows were strategically placed to provide
the best views.

The house has plenty of open spaces, and each room was designed with a view of the sea in mind. The modern minimalist style is reflected in every room and corner of the home.

The open-plan design was created to integrate outdoor and indoor spaces while optimising the site’s location, view, and climate. On the upper level, a cutting-edge glass-walled media room overlooks the tranquil sea, as does the lovely terrace garden, wooden deck, and skylight.

The kitchen is located in the southeast corner of the house in accordance with Vastu principles,
ensuring adequate natural light throughout.

The stark stainless kitchen island provides a modern touch.

It was a top priority to build the house with natural materials.

Both the handcrafted dining table and the teak-upholstered sofa are visible. Not only that, but
the house’s interior features a green construction technique achieved through the use of local
woods.

The use of energy-saving technologies is central to the guiding principles for standard design. In addition, recycled materials were considered, such as recovered wood for the garden area or garden screens. The design plan then included steel countertops, recycled tiles, and organic fabrics.

To maintain transparency, all doors, windows, and dividers are made of glass, which improves the appearance and creates the illusion of more space.

The entire home was constructed using mostly recycled and natural materials.
